The Advanced Performance coaching
program is right for you if you are looking to replace your casual training with
a more structured approach to become a competitive rider.
Training Plan Design: The training
plan is personalized based on your interests and goals. On a yearly basis, a guided
goal setting and review session is conducted. The training plan is reviewed and
uploaded to the website every four to six weeks and includes daily workouts. Each
one of your races is incorporated into the training plan and the workouts are scheduled
considering the dates of your events.
Communication: There is one telephone
training review and follow-up call per month. The phone call should be pre-scheduled
and confirmed in advance, and initiated by the rider.
Measuring Intensity: This program
includes establishing heart rate training zones. Intensity is prescribed using heart
rate ranges and measured by Rate of Perceived Exertion (RPE) - a subjective measure
of effort - or a heart rate monitor. A heart rate monitor is highly recommended,
although is it not absolutely necessary.
Price: The monthly fee for the Advanced
Performance coaching program is $150 with a one-time set up fee of $75.
