Cycling Goals:  My short term goal is to get back into racing shape after taking an 8-month break upon retirement from the pro ranks. My long term goal is to help other cyclists accomplish their goals by sharing the knowledge I have gained throughout my 21 years of cycling.

Biography:  I got involved in cycling at the age of eight. My first major event was the "Freewheel", a 5-day bike tour across the State of Oklahoma. It was 400 miles in 5 days. I enjoyed the freedom associated with riding a bike -- I still feel the same way today. I've visited 31 countries to date and most of them because of cycling. This sport has taken me around the World many times! As a result of the cycling lifestyle I lived for so many years, I developed interests in people, more travel, reading, music, coffee, beer, wine, and great foods of many different cultures. All in moderation of course -- it can be very easy to let the ol power-to-weight ratio slide with interests like these!
